System Developer Functional Safety Steer-by-Wire (m/f/d)

Your Key Responsibilities

  • Development of innovative steer-by-wire chassis actuators from the automotive environment
  • Independent development of technical safety concepts and architectures with focus on functional safety up to ASIL D
  • Determination and formulation of system requirements for mechatronic systems and participation in the preparation of safety analyses
  • Coordination of system interfaces with customers, internal departments and external suppliers
  • Creation of functional specifications and modelling in SysML, especially for technical safety requirements
  • Support in the creation and analysis of system and component tests

Your Qualifications

  • Successfully completed studies in the field of electrical engineering, mechatronics, (technical) computer science, physics or a comparable field of study
  • Many years of professional experience in the development of safety-relevant mechatronic systems in the automotive environment
  • Profound knowledge in requirements engineering and architectural development of systems and development processes in the automotive environment, such as automotive SPICE and ISO26262
  • Safe handling of safety analysis techniques such as FMEA, FTA and/or FMEDA as well as good knowledge of electric drives systems, control and power electronics
  • Very good knowledge of German and English, written and spoken
  • Independent, structured and systematic working method as well as enjoyment of teamwork in a very interdisciplinary environment
