Your Key Responsibilities

  • Development of sensor technology and motor control for innovative chassis actuators for steer-by-wire applications from the automotive environment
  • Formulation and comparison of multi-channel motor control strategies to increase the reliability
  • Determination and formulation of system requirements for sensors and motor control relevant system elements
  • Coordination of system interfaces with customers, internal departments and external suppliers
  • Creation of the functional architecture as well as modelling, simulation and specification of sensors and motor control functions
  • Support of the integration and verification managers in sensor and motor control topics

Your Qualifications

  • Successfully completed studies in the field of electrical engineering, mechatronics, (technical) computer science, physics or a comparable field of study
  • Several years of professional experience in sensor and/or motor control development in the environment of safety and safety-relevant automotive products
  • Well-founded know-how in requirements engineering and development processes in automotive environment such as automotive SPICE and/or ISO26262
  • Good knowledge of electromechanical drive systems, control, power electronics and the associated function and software development or to sensor systems in the automotive chassis area such as rotor position, torque and/or linear position measurement
  • Good knowledge of German and English, written and spoken
  • Independent, structured and systematic working method as well as enjoyment of teamwork in a very interdisciplinary Environment
