Your Key Responsibilities

  • Development of highly integrated electronics and sensor technology for chassis actuators (e.g. X-by-wire, steering, roll stabilization) for applications in the field of autonomous driving
  • Creation of hardware architectures and safety concepts up to ASIL D for fault-tolerant high-availability systems in the vehicle
  • Design, simulation, qualification and commissioning of ASIL-compliant electronics in automotive environment such as logic boards, position, torque and linear position sensors
  • Cooperation in an interdisciplinary mechatronics development team with the competences electronic control unit, sensor system and electrical machine
  • Coordination with customers and suppliers

Your Qualifications

  • Successfully completed studies in electrical engineering, mechatronics or a comparable specialisation
  • Several years of professional experience in circuit design/layout as well as in the field of functional safety engineering according to ISO26262 in the automotive environment
  • Good knowledge of electronics/sensor electronics such as magneto resistive sensors, capacitive/inductive methods and the associated evaluation electronics
  • Experience with common communication protocols such as CAN, SPI, LIN and I²C as well as in electronic design under harsh environmental conditions such as EMC, temperature and vibration
  • Very good knowledge of German and English, written and spoken
  • Independent, structured, interdisciplinary and goal-oriented working method in a team
