Digital and efficient: Machine Tool 4.0

Schaeffler has worked together with machine tool manufacturer DMG Mori to create the Machine Tool 4.0, and has equipped the bearings and linear guidance systems installed at over 60 points inside it with sensors. It is used in volume production at Schaeffler’s Höchstadt plant. This film shows you the ways in which machine operators benefit and in which the day-to-day production process becomes more efficient – told directly by the employees who work with the Machine Tool 4.0 virtually every day.
