HP Master Control Unit (MCU)

The High Performance Master Control Unit (HP MCU) is part of the functional integration platform offered by Schaeffler for lateral and longitudinal acceleration, thermal and energy management, driving/charging strategy, shift-/steer-/brake-by-wire systems. Based on a microcontroller (μC), the HP MCU supports the highest level of functional safety (ASIL-D) and ensures secure communication and save operation. Integration platform for Software Defined Vehicles (SDV) with possibility to integrate microprocessor (µP) into the HP MCU.
