Battery Thermal Runaway Sensor
This sensor is responsible for detection of thermal runaway conditions in vehicle battery packs and alerting the Battery Management System (BMS). It thus contributes to the safety of electric and plug-in hybrid vehicles. The flexible housing, connector and mounting design makes system integration easy.

Highlights
- Best in class "low power" mode with configurable pressure gradient or threshold wake-up function
- Programmable sampling frequency and historical pressure pulse recording
- Optional temperature, H2 and humidity sensors with ASIL B or C ready architecture
Advantages
- In-depth application and sensor know-how with proprietary ASICs & MEMs
- Up to 4 independent sensor principles: pressure, thermal conductivity (hydrogen), humidity, temperature
- Low power mode to operate also in park mode
- Performance for ASIL b requirements
