Project example
With our comprehensive Change Management support for the “Execution Program 2025,” we managed the people side of change by preparing, equipping, and supporting the different project managers and sponsors with integrated concepts to accelerate Schaeffler’s company-wide strategy implementation. We identified stakeholders, addressed concerns, and established a common sense of change goals to empower employees.
Initial Situation
- Dramatic shifts within the industry required strategic measures both on the defense and offense
- There were fundamental changes to roles, responsibilities, processes, and the mindset of employees
- Different degrees of implementation progress across initiatives triggered individual needs for change management support
Change Objectives
- Ensure transparency and clarity of how each subprogram, initiative and project contributes to overall strategic goals
- Identify, size and categorize required change management support (on a pull instead of push principle)
- Manage demand for both light- as well as medium-/high-touch change support.
- Achieve alignment, efficiency, standardization, and scalability by providing central governance
- Involve all stakeholders (e.g., management, employees, etc.) to drive the change process
Key Highlights
- We established the Change Office, which served as the first point of contact for all change management-related questions across the Execution Program 2025
