Increased machine availability with Industry 4.0 solutions

Schaeffler is implementing intelligent maintenance of operationally critical assemblies in its latest warehouse and Distribution Center Central (EDZ). The aim is to avoid unplanned downtimes, significantly reduce maintenance costs and increase plant availability. Among other things, 169 automatic lubricant systems and 58 SmartChecks are used for condition monitoring. Predictive maintenance pays off.
