Among other things, Knauf decided to monitor the product cooling furnaces and the motor of the Roto-Packer with OPTIME Condition Monitoring (CM), as the maintenance department was impressed by the professional Schaeffler advice, the simplicity of the solutions and the possibility of having an overview of all machine types on one user interface.
Just a few months after installation, OPTIME CM reported failures on a product cooling furnace as well as on the Roto-Packer. Based on this success, Knauf has expanded the OPTIME CM solution to include another element from the OPTIME Ecosystems - the OPTIME C1 smart lubricator. And the ProLink CMS system is also taking its place at Knauf.
