Linear practical training

Target group: Engineers, Sales

Status: Advanced

Examples showing the fitting and dismantling of linear guidance components give the participants insights into the interior workings of, for example, carriages of widely different types. This “hands on” experience with linear guidance systems in the truest sense of the expression is developed into assembly of monorail guidance systems. Considerable attention is paid to “closing methods”, i.e. the correct covering of fixing screws in the guideways in order to avoid friction losses.
Handling of measurement systems, predominantly for determining travel distances, allows the participant an experience of the automation field.
After the presentations, the participant is required to make a practical contribution himself. For this reason we ask you to bring safety shoes with you. If necessary we can provide safety shoes. In this case, please state your shoe size when registering for the course.
